A really lovely little hotel with a friendly and reliable host. Breakfast and dinner were always excellent and highly recommended. The staff were friendly and welcoming at all times. What I liked most was the sauna area. It is very well designed, with several different saunas, water, tea, fresh fruit, plenty of towels and comfortable loungers. Everything feels very inviting and beautifully arranged. I would definitely stay here again for my next winter holiday. :)    

We had breakfast at Hotel Trofana and were delighted by the delicious and varied selection at the buffet. Egg dishes were freshly prepared in the kitchen and served to our table. There was also a great choice of drinks, including different coffees, teas, juices, oat milk and more. The staff were incredibly friendly and gave us a very warm welcome. The price was very reasonable, and even a bottle of Prosecco was included. We can highly recommend the breakfast and would definitely come back again.

A special thank you to the reception team: check-in and check-out were completely seamless. A real highlight was the valet service for our car, as well as the opportunity to freshen up at the hotel before our journey home. This meant we were able to enjoy another day of skiing on our departure day. The freshly prepared eggs at breakfast were a great start to the day.    

Hotel Trofana Alpin is a wonderful place to enjoy fantastic cuisine and truly warm hospitality. We really appreciate the wonderful evenings we have spent here and are already looking forward to our next dinner with you. We ate at the Tenne several times during the Opening Weekend in both 2024 and 2025. It’s simply a fantastic place – we always managed to find a table, the atmosphere is cosy, and the food is absolutely amazing. Constantin is incredibly attentive and always makes our visits especially enjoyable. Thank you!    

We had a really fun evening at the restaurant – excellent food, outstanding service and lots of fun with the aroma bar (insider tip: No. 48 is cauliflower!) and games. We can definitely recommend a visit! We were even able to get a table for nine at short notice just before Christmas.    

Today marked the end of our seven-day stay at this exceptionally welcoming, first-class hotel. You can certainly spend more money on a room in Ischgl, but there really is no need to. The service is warm and attentive throughout – from reception and housekeeping to the management, who even personally prepared us a coffee for our journey home.
In the evening, guests can enjoy the excellent restaurant or round off a day on the slopes at the “Tenne” bar and Thai restaurant. The sauna area is very well equipped, although the décor is beginning to show its age. Like the rooms, it is due to be modernised for the coming year. After ten years of travelling together and staying in some of the best resorts in Austria and Switzerland, I can confidently say that this is one of the best hotels we have had the pleasure of visiting.
We would be delighted to return – just like the many regular guests we had the pleasure of meeting over the past few days.    

We had a wonderful stay here. Hotel Trofana Alpin impressed us in every respect, but we would particularly like to highlight the excellent service provided by the team. The food is delicious, the rooms have recently been beautifully renovated, and the hotel’s facilities leave nothing to be desired. I stayed for one night last Sunday and was thoroughly impressed! It was my first time in Ischgl, and I was delighted by the warm hospitality of the entire team. Although I am aware that Ischgl is a very popular tourist destination, I felt genuinely valued as a guest at Hotel Trofana Alpin. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout my stay, and I also really appreciated the valet parking service. The atmosphere throughout the hotel and in my room was wonderful – everything was beautifully presented, clean and peaceful. The location is fantastic too, with everything within easy walking distance. The food and breakfast buffet were also of a very high standard. I would be delighted to return!    

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a weekend and can only say positive things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I received a warm welcome, and check-in was quick and hassle-free. The staff were always friendly, helpful and extremely attentive. The room was not only spotlessly clean and well equipped, but also incredibly cosy. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I slept wonderfully every night. I particularly liked the modern bathroom with its spacious shower and high-quality toiletries. The breakfast buffet was another highlight, offering a wide selection of fresh and delicious dishes, from regional specialities to international favourites. It is clear that great importance is placed on quality. The hotel’s location is also ideal: central yet peaceful, with everything in Ischgl within easy walking distance. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Ischgl. I will definitely be back!    

Cozy, beautiful and authentic. Great service, excellent food and a lovely spa area. Easy access to the village tunnel and the Fimba cable car. I’ll definitely be back.    

Perfectly located between great après-ski spots, ski rental shops, and the route to the slopes. Excellent breakfast and a great restaurant for dinner, but what I especially want to highlight is the service-oriented staff. The team deserves a big raise!

The von der Thannen family took excellent care of us and was always there to offer helpful advice and assistance whenever we had any questions.    

We had a phenomenal stay at the Trofana Alpin! Our room was beautiful, and Nadine and her wonderfully friendly staff took such great care of us. The gondola was just a short walk around the corner. After a long day of skiing, it was wonderful to relax in the spa and enjoy one of the best dinners in Ischgl, with a delicious five-course menu prepared by the talented chef. A wonderful hotel – if not one of the very best – in Ischgl.    

My partner and I spent a wonderful week at the Trofana Alpin. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome at reception. The caretaker brought our luggage to our room and even parked our car in the garage. The rooms are very modern and beautifully furnished with great attention to detail. The half-board option is fantastic! There is an excellent breakfast buffet, and freshly prepared scrambled eggs are available from the breakfast chef upon request. Dinner was a highlight every evening. On Sundays, there is always a seven-course gala dinner, which is a true feast for the senses. Our waitress Natalie took excellent care of us throughout our stay. The entire team is extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. After a long day of skiing, the spa is the perfect place to relax. What makes it especially enjoyable is that it never feels overcrowded, unlike in many other hotels, as the Trofana Alpin has only around 30 rooms. This creates a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. A huge compliment to the von der Thannen family, who are present at the hotel every day, whether in the restaurant or at reception, making sure everything runs smoothly and helping wherever they can. Even the senior owner is happy to step behind the bar and pour a beer. The dedication and commitment behind everything they do is truly remarkable. We already booked our stay for next season before leaving and are really looking forward to our next visit to the Trofana Alpin. Warm regards to the entire team!    

I was very lucky to get a room at such short notice. The hotel is fantastic. The rooms are very clean, stylish and beautifully furnished. As a very experienced foodie ;) I have to give huge compliments to the kitchen. The Thai food at the Tenne is also an absolute must! I wish the staff everywhere were as friendly as they are here. Truly impressive. I would happily come back anytime. The only downside to my stay was that the days went by far too quickly :DD. But you’ve definitely gained another regular guest ;) I just hope I’ll be as lucky with my next booking – despite publicly raving about this hotel!    

Simply fantastic food – exactly the kind of food you want to enjoy in Austria! The service is excellent as well. We visited with a group of 25 people, and everything went smoothly. We’ve been coming here for over 15 years and have never had a bad experience.    

Definitely a 10/10! Excellent location, beautiful and spacious rooms, super friendly staff, and an absolutely delicious five-course dinner.    

A wonderful ski holiday in Ischgl! We received a complimentary upgrade, and the staff were incredibly attentive, warm and friendly. The hotel is cozy and spotlessly clean, with a fantastic location. The valet parking and private ski storage are also great touches. The food was excellent, and the Aperol tasted just like in Italy. In the après-ski hotspot of Ischgl, this hotel is a true gem!    

A truly lovely hotel in a great location with a wonderful feel-good atmosphere! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the very beginning. Beautiful room, delicious breakfast and, as a highlight, an excellent dinner at the Tenne. Highly recommended all around – I’ll definitely be back!
